The GP3HSE-NS carries forward the spirit of its predecessor while offering features including the Taka-Mini dreadnought deep body shape, a solid spruce top, and sapele back and sides crafted in classic acoustic tradition. The one distinctive feature of the model that sets it apart is its Nashville tuning setup. The guitar comes factory-strung with the “high-strings” from a 12-string set, delivering the signature Nashville shimmering tone that adds depth and sparkle to performance. A smooth laurel fingerboard and the TP-3G preamp with built-in tuner ensure rich acoustic response and dependable stage-ready functionality. Gold hardware adds a touch of elegance, completing this versatile new addition to the Taka-Mini lineup.
Scaled down deep-body dreadnought with Nashville shimmer
The GP3HSE-NS is a travel-sized dreadnought guitar that’s built to be easy to take anywhere, while delivering the kind of sound that can feel surprisingly expansive for its size.
Small guitars that sound big are always amazing, and the GP3HSE-NS is also great for “Nashville tuning” — replacing the lowest four strings with octave-up strings (like the high octave strings in a 12-string set). The result is a light, shimmering sound that works beautifully in a mix, offering a 12-string-style sparkle without the bulk of extra frequencies.
Finished in Natural Satin, the GP3HSE-NS is complemented by gold hardware with amber pearloid buttons for an elegant visual touch.
Bringing the GP3HSE-NS to the stage is simple with built-in TP-3G electronics, featuring 3-band EQ, volume control and a chromatic tuner.
