Its solid cedar top is paired with solid sapele back and sapele sides, while the Gloss Natural finish showcases the character of the instrument's tonewoods. Takamine's NEX body shape offers a silky tonal balance that supports vocals beautifully.

The solid cedar top gives the FSF40C a warm, open character, complemented by the sapele back and sides. A mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard complete the core construction, providing a comfortable foundation for performance. The NEX cutaway body also offers convenient access further up the fingerboard while retaining the balanced character of Takamine's original body design.
