DSF48C

The Takamine DSF48C is a handcrafted NEX cutaway electro-acoustic that combines powerful acoustic performance with distinctive Santa Fe-inspired detailing. Its solid Sitka spruce top is paired with a solid rosewood back and rosewood sides, delivering excellent projection, power and a broad dynamic range. The NEX body shape offers a silky tonal balance that supports vocals beautifully.

A mahogany neck is joined to the body with a traditional dovetail joint, while the striped ebony fingerboard provides an elegant playing surface. The body and fingerboard are fully bound, complementing the guitar's Gloss Natural finish and carefully considered construction.

The DSF48C has a distinctive Southwest Native American-inspired theme, featuring a black crow rosette and eagle fingerboard inlays. Gold tuners with amber pearl keys complete the striking aesthetic, giving the guitar an unmistakable identity.

For amplified performance, Takamine's CT4-DX preamp is paired with a Palathetic under-saddle pickup and soundboard transducer. Independent control over both pickups allows their signals to be blended, with EQ and notch filter control providing extensive options for shaping your amplified sound. An onboard chromatic tuner adds further convenience on stage.

Complete with an SH500A case, the Takamine DSF48C brings together solid tonewoods, distinctive craftsmanship and flexible dual-source electronics in a performance-ready NEX cutaway.
